IV Congreso Internacional de Muestreo y Control de Calidad

The IV International Congress on Sampling and Quality Control (IV Congreso Internacional de Muestreo y Control de Calidad) will be held on October 13-14, 2025, in Lima, Peru.

This prestigious event, which has attracted over 500 attendees across its previous three editions, aims to showcase practical applications of Sampling Theory and Quality Management principles throughout the mining value chain to optimize companies’ financial results.

The organizing committee, led by Oscar Dominguez, Director of Geoscience QA/QC at AngloGold Ashanti, invites mining professionals, suppliers, consultants, and academics to submit papers and presentations focused on business cases and examples where effective sampling systems and quality management have improved reconciliation results, metallurgical balance, production accounting, and ultimately, economic outcomes during the marketing process.

The congress provides a valuable opportunity for professionals working in sampling and quality management to interact and learn from diverse applications spanning from exploration to marketing, including the development of new technologies. With participation from more than nine mining companies in previous editions, this event continues to be a key forum for knowledge exchange in the mining industry.
