Euroanalysis 2025 in Barcelona
The EUROANALYSIS conference, a biannual international event organized by the Division of Analytical Chemistry of the European Chemical Society, will return in 2025, bringing together analytical chemistry experts from across Europe and beyond in Barcelona, Spain. Under the theme “Analytics 5.0: Answering Societal Challenges,” the event will showcase how advanced analytical techniques can address sustainable development goals.
The conference aims to demonstrate how the analytical community can leverage recent technological breakthroughs to serve pressing societal needs. Organizers emphasize the implementation of green methodologies and technologies—from smart sensors to multimodal and high-throughput techniques—to improve health and wellbeing, promote responsible industrial production, and protect environmental ecosystems.
A special focus will be placed on engaging young researchers, providing them with active roles in shaping the future of analytical science. This forward-looking approach recognizes the essential contribution of emerging talent to solving global challenges.
The Catalan Chemical Society (SCQ) will serve as the primary host organization, with support from numerous research centers, scientific societies, and industrial partners. Additionally, the Spanish Society of Chromatography and Related Techniques (SECYTA) will incorporate its XXIV Annual Meeting within EUROANALYSIS 2025.
