About IPGSA

The International Pierre Gy Sampling Association (IPGSA) strives to promote best practices in representative sampling and support the global sampling community. Our purpose is to oversee the formal activities of this community and to represent its collective views. Although IPGSA is not a legally constituted body, it operates as a common-interest, unincorporated association of individuals dedicated to advancing the science and practice of sampling.

Updates on the latest developments in sampling: Stay informed with the newest insights, methodologies, application, and innovations in the Theory of Sampling (TOS).
Conference proceedings: Access comprehensive information from global and regional sampling conferences, including the World Conference on Sampling and Blending (WCSB) and related events.

The IPGSA aims to address the critical lack of awareness around the importance of representative sampling and offers practical solutions for the collection of accurate, representative samples. We are committed to supporting professionals in science, technology, and industry by providing authoritative resources.

IPGSA operates under a Constitution that outlines the governance structure, with control of the Association and its funds vested in the appropriate individuals. The Association is guided by a Council, which oversees its activities and ensures that the interests of the world sampling community are promoted and represented.
