Mr. Dominguez is a geologist and MBA graduate with extensive experience in the mining industry, particularly in sampling and quality management. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Dominguez has held various technical and leadership positions in major mining companies (currently Director Geoscience QAQC in AngloGold Ashanti), , where he has spent 20 years developing and implementing Quality Management Programs across the value chain (geoscience, production, processing, marketing). His work spans several commodities, including copper, gold, iron ore, nickel and coal (between others), where he has implemented innovative and pragmatic sampling and quality control strategies to quantify the quality and representiveness of the samples and data used for business decisions, and also supporting the development of new technologies sample-related. Mr. Dominguez is actively involved in global sampling conferences and workshops, contributing to the advancement of international best practices in sampling and quality programs. He currently serves as Vice President of the International Pierre Gy Sampling Association, where he focuses on integrating cutting-edge technology and data management tools into sampling processes, thereby ensuring better quality and consistency in mineral extraction operations, reconciliation and metallurgical balance.
